Doliprane 100 mg powder is a medicine that contains paracetamol .
It is indicated in case of pain , fever , headache, flu , dental pain, body aches. Its use is reserved for infants and children weighing 6 to 20 kg (approximately 3 months to 7 years) . Each sachet contains 100 mg of paracetamol. The excipients are composed of sodium benzoate, povidone K30, acetylated monoglycerides, titanium dioxide, saccharin and sucrose. The orange flavor is made up of water, maltodextrin, gum arabic, orange essential oil. 

Dosage of Doliprane 100 mg powder

The dosage of  Doliprane 100 mg powder depends on your child’s weight. Before taking it, you must know how much your child weighs. Doliprane is available in several dosages in order to best adapt the treatment to the child’s weight.
Dolirane 100 in sachets is indicated for children weighing between 6 and 20 kg, i.e. approximately between 3 months and 7 years old . Four dosage levels are possible:

• children weighing 6 to 8 kg (approximately 3 to 9 months): 1 sachet per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 sachets per day;
• from 9 to 10 kg (9 to 18 months): 1 sachet per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 sachets per day;
• from 11 to 16 kg (18 months to 5 years): 2 sachets per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 8 sachets per day;
• from 17 to 20 kg (4 to 7 years): 2 sachets per dose, to be repeated if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 12 sachets per day.

As a guide, the dosage of paracetamol is approximately 15 mg per kilo every 6 hours or 10 mg per kilo every 4 hours.
To take Doliprane 100 mg, dissolve the contents of the sachet in a small amount of water, milk or fruit juice, then stir and drink immediately afterwards.
If your child has a temperature above 38.5°C, make sure to uncover him and give him something to drink regularly. He should be placed in a place where it is not too hot.

Warnings with Doliprane pink in sachets

Never use  Doliprane 100 mg powder in case of allergy, serious liver or kidney disease, and in case of intolerance to certain sugars (sucrose). If you have given too high a dose of Doliprane by mistake, you must consult your doctor.
In order to avoid the risk of an overdose, do not combine Doliprane 100 mg powder with any other medicine containing paracetamol.
If symptoms persist (pain and fever for more than 3 days), in case of signs of worsening or ineffectiveness of the treatment, contact your doctor.

 Packaging: Box of 12 sachets

If the child vomits, it is preferable to choose Doliprane 100 mg suppositories . Be careful, however, not to exceed the maximum dose of paracetamol.
