The active substance is fexofenadine hydrochloride.

1 film-coated tablet contains 120 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride, equivalent to 112 mg fexofenadine.

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, corn starch, povidone K 30, magnesium stearate. Coating Opadry Pink 03C54667 consists of: hypromellose 6 cP, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, macrogol 4000, iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172).

dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The drug should be taken orally with a tablet of water before meals.
The usual dose of Allertec Fexo for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 tablet per day.

Call your doctor right away and stop taking Allertec Fexo if you experience swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat and find it difficult to breathe. These may be signs of a severe allergic reaction.

Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people): headache, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea.

Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people): Fatigue.

frequency unknown: difficulty falling asleep (insomnia), trouble sleeping, nightmares/vivid dreams, nervousness, fast or irregular heartbeat, diarrhea, rash, itching, hives, severe allergic reactions that can cause swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and throat , shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, hot flashes.

Warnings and Precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Allertec Fexo if you have kidney or liver problems, have or have had heart disease (this medicine can cause a fast or irregular heartbeat), or are older.

Allertec Fexo may interact with antacids (containing aluminum or magnesium), as they may reduce the absorption of the drug. For this reason, a gap of 2 hours should be observed between them.
