Caution should be exercised when using the drug in patients with impaired renal function.
Immunocompromised people should see a doctor about treating any infection:
in patients who have developed particularly severe recurrent herpes,
in patients who have developed particularly severe recurrent genital herpes,
in case of detection of frequent (> 6 per year) and longer (lack of a positive effect of treatment after 5 days of therapy) than before, herpes recurrences, with more pronounced clinical symptoms (for example, when new foci of infection appear after 3-4 days of therapy ). This may indicate immunodeficiency or malabsorption, requiring diagnosis and the need for a different dosage of the drug.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, check with your doctor before taking this medicine.
The use of Invirum during pregnancy should be avoided unless the physician considers that the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

Taking more than the recommended dose of the drug

Patients with severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min): the decision on the dosing method is made only by the doctor, who can reduce the dose to 1 tablet (200 mg) 2 times a day approximately every 12 hours.
