Nizoral® medicinal shampoo, 20mg/g is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following skin diseases: dandruff of the scalp (exfoliation of the epidermis of the scalp in the form of white, easily separated scales); seborrheic dermatitis (brown-red patches on the chest and face that flake off as white or yellow scales; pityriasis versicolor (small white spots on the skin of the chest).
- Composition
Active substance: 1 ml of shampoo contains 20 mg of ketoconazole.
Excipients: sodium lauryl sulfate ether, disodium monolaurylsulfonsuccinic acid, coconut fatty acid diethylamide, laurdimonioum-hydrolyzed animal collagen, macrogol methyl glucose dioleate 120, hydrochloric acid, sodium chloride, fragrances, sodium imidurea hydroxide, sodium erythrosine (E 127), purified water.
- Dosage
Nizoral® shampoo for pityriasis vulgaris and seborrheic dermatitis is used in the following cases: method:
Treatment period – 2 times a week for 2-4 weeks: 1. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the infected skin (hair can be previously washed with regular shampoo). 2. Using a small amount of water, spread the shampoo evenly on the skin. In the case of long hair, it is enough to wash only the scalp. 3. Rub the shampoo into the skin until it lathers. 4. Leave the lather for about 5 minutes, then rinse. 5. Regular shampoo can be used every day. Prevention – once every two weeks, as in the treatment period. Application of Nizoral® shampoo for pityriasis versicolor: Treatment period – once a day for 5 days. Prevention – before the summer period once a day for 3 consecutive days.
