“The drug helps you get used to nicotine by gradually reducing the dose supplied to the body. Nicutin 2 mg per tablet is intended for adults who smoke their first cigarette no later than 30 minutes after waking up.

Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is nicotine (Nicotinum).
1 lozenge contains 2 mg of nicotine.
Excipients: mannitol (E 421), sodium alginate, xanthan gum, potassium bicarbonate, copolymer of calcium polyacrylate with divinyl glycol, anhydrous sodium carbonate, aspartame (E 451), magnesium stearate, mint flavor 57581 (contains lactose and soy protein).

Dosage
Adults, including older adults: Place one lozenge in the mouth and move it from one side of the mouth to the other from time to time until completely dissolved (approximately 20-30 minutes).
The dosage schedule below should be followed:
Weeks 1 to 6 (beginning of quitting smoking): 1 lozenge every 1–2 hours.
From 7 to 9 weeks (treatment period with dose reduction): 1 lozenge every 2–4 hours.
Week 10-12. (treatment period with dose reduction): 1 lozenge every 4–8 hours.
If possible, it should be used in conjunction with a psychological smoking cessation program when quitting smoking.
During treatment with Niquitin tablets, patients should completely stop smoking.
The tablets should not be chewed or swallowed whole.
Do not eat or drink while the lollipop is being dissolved.
Do not suck more than 1 lozenge at a time.
During the first 6 weeks of therapy (level 1), it is recommended to take at least 9 lozenges per day.
Do not take more than 15 lozenges per day.
To abstain from smoking for the next 12 weeks: Take 1 or 2 lozenges per day only when you have a strong urge to smoke.
The medicine should not be used for longer than 24 weeks (6 months). If necessary, the doctor may decide to extend treatment beyond this period.
