Dosage
Mechanism of action
CAPTOMUCIL® reduces the viscosity of mucus and allows secretions to drain quickly and efficiently. Mucin is a physiological component of human secretions. Its overproduction during respiratory infections causes the mucus to become too sticky to excrete, causing sinus blockage. CAPTOMUCYL reduces the viscosity of mucus, making it much easier to remove excess mucus. A study by the manufacturer has shown that the unlocking effect with CAPTOMUCIL® occurs within 30 seconds*.

Dosage and method of application
Adults and children over 6 years old: 1-2 injections in each nostril up to 4 times a day. Children from 3 to 6 years: 1 injection in each nostril up to 2 times a day. When using the drug in children from 3 to 6 years, follow the instructions of the doctor.

Side effects
At doses required to obtain a therapeutic effect, no side effects have ever been reported, with the exception of intolerance that occurs in individual cases. If symptoms do not improve within 5-7 days, see your doctor.

Interactions with food supplements and drugs
The interaction of the components of CAPTOMUCIL® nasal spray with food supplements or drugs is unknown.

Store the drug in a dry place, away from direct sources of light and heat. Do not use the drug if the package is damaged. Keep out of the reach of children at a temperature of 15°C to 25°C.

Warnings and Precautions
Do not use in children under 3 years of age. Before using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor. Do not exceed recommended doses. The drug should not be used for a period exceeding 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, see a doctor. Do not use in case of intolerance to the drug. Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, such as vegetable chitosan.

Validity
Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiration date applies to the drug stored in undamaged packaging.

Usage
After the expiration date, the product should be disposed of in accordance with the regulations.
Under no circumstances should the drug or its packaging be released into the environment.
