• Tribiotic antibacterial ointment preventing the development of bacterial infections in the case of minor wounds, scratches and burns.
• Composition:
  1 g of ointment contains:

active substances: 10 mg of zinc bacitracin, 5 mg of neomycin sulphate and 0.833 mg of polymyxin B sulphate
excipient: white petrolatum.

• Action:
  The medicine contains three antibiotics with a broad range of antibacterial action.
• Dosage:
  The medicine should be used once to three times a day. A small amount of the medicine should be applied to the affected areas of the skin. If necessary, a protective, sterile dressing can be used.

Use for no longer than 7 days.

• Children:

Do not use in children under 12 years of age, due to the risk of the medicine damaging hearing and kidneys.

Contraindications:
Do not use the medicine:

in case of hypersensitivity to zinc bacitracin, neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate or any of the excipients of the medicine,
on mucous membranes,
on large areas of damaged skin,
on deep or stab wounds, severe burns,
in the eyes,
on oozing skin lesions.

• Adverse reactions:
  Like any medicine, it can cause adverse reactions, although not everyone will experience them.

The medicine may damage hearing, cause general hypersensitivity symptoms and local symptoms such as rash, itching, irritation symptoms and infections with resistant strains of bacteria or fungi (yeasts). If any of the adverse reactions become severe or if any adverse reactions not listed above occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

  Precautions:
  The drug should be discontinued if there is no improvement, if symptoms worsen or if hypersensitivity symptoms occur, including skin symptoms such as rash, itching, irritation symptoms and severe allergic reactions. Applying the drug to large areas of damaged skin may cause hearing loss, kidney damage and toxic symptoms from the nervous system. People with kidney or hearing impairment should be particularly careful.

Using other drugs:
You should inform your doctor about all drugs you have been taking recently, even those obtained without a prescription.

Simultaneous use of the drug with orally administered neomycin may increase the risk of hypersensitivity.

The drug should not be used concurrently with drugs that may damage the kidneys and hearing, such as strong diuretics (e.g. furosemide, ethacrynic acid), because the risk of hearing disorders up to deafness increases, even after discontinuing the drug.

When aminoglycoside antibiotics are used concurrently with other drugs that can damage hearing and kidneys or drugs that are toxic to the nervous system, side effects may accumulate.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Due to the lack of appropriate studies, the drug should not be used during pregnancy and in breastfeeding women. Consult a doctor before using the drug.
