Psyllium Langlebert Seeds is a bulking laxative made from Psyllium seeds that changes the volume and consistency of stools. It is prescribed particularly in the treatment of constipation.

Psyllium Langlebert Seeds contains 250 g of Psyllium seeds.
 

Dosage of Psyllium Langlebert laxative

This medicine should preferably be taken in the evening, at a rate of 1 to 2 tablespoons in soup, but can also be used pure  by following its intake with half a glass of water . It should be noted that Psyllium Langlebert is effective after 2 to 3 days of treatment, due to its mechanism of action.

Contraindications of Psyllium Langlebert for constipation

The drug Psyllium Langlebert is contraindicated in certain diseases of the intestine and colon and in cases of abdominal pain (stomach pain).

Its use should remain occasional in cases of constipation and should be accompanied by hygiene and dietary measures: increase in the intake of foods rich in fiber, increase in the consumption of water and fruit juice, physical activities (sport, walking, etc.) and re-education of the defecation reflex.

Any recent constipation unexplained by a change in lifestyle, any constipation accompanied by pain, fever, or swelling of the stomach should be the subject of medical advice.
