Homeoplasmine ointment from the Boiron laboratory is a homeopathic medicine indicated in the adjunctive treatment of skin irritations. This ointment contains plant extracts and an antiseptic, used as a skin protector.

Dosage of Homeoplasmine Ointment

In case of skin irritation , apply 1 to 3 times a day in a thin layer.

Contraindications of Homeoplasmine cream

Homeoplasmine is contraindicated in case of allergy to the constituents of the ointment, in children under 30 months and in case of oozing and superinfected lesions. Due to the presence of boric acid, this medicine should not be used for a long time or repeatedly, on damaged skin (especially burns), on a large surface, in an occlusive (closed) dressing, especially in children.
Boric acid has been the cause of serious poisoning in children. Certain signs should alert you: cutaneous signs such as intense and diffuse erythroderma then desquamation with initial erythema predominating in particular at the level of the seat and the mouth. 

Homeoplasmine  is not recommended during pregnancy as well as in women of childbearing age who are not using contraception. It should also not be used during breastfeeding. If the medication was applied to the breasts, and the woman wanted to breastfeed, she would need to clean the skin thoroughly before breastfeeding. Always seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication when you are breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy or think you may be pregnant. 
It has been noted that one of the substances contained in this medication has been shown to harm fertility in animals.
