Doliprane, Dolirhume, 16

The drug Dolirhume is recommended for the treatment of colds in  adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. It contains a nasal vasoconstrictor (pseudoephedrine) and an analgesic (paracetamol). It will decongest and calm the  sensations of a blocked nose, relieve  headaches and lower fever. The active substances contained in Dolirhume are paracetamol (500 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg)  corresponding to 24.57 mg of pseudoephedrine base. It also contains, as excipients, wheat starch, potato starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch, lactose and magnesium stearate.

Dosage of Dolirhume

Dolirhume is indicated for adults and adolescents over 15 years old at a rate of 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day , without exceeding 6 tablets per day. The interval between doses will be at least 4 hours (8 hours in case of renal insufficiency).
For information The maximum daily dosage for paracetamol is 3 g, and 180 mg of pseudoephedrine.
The duration of use is limited to 5 days. In the absence of improvement, in case of persistence of symptoms beyond 5 days of treatment, do not continue the treatment and contact your doctor.

Contraindications and warnings with Dolirhume

The use of Dolirhume is contraindicated in case of allergy to one of the components, in case of a history of a stroke, high blood pressure , heart disease, difficulty urinating, serious liver or kidney disease, in case of glaucoma and in case of convulsions.

Dolirhume should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in anticipation of anesthesia.
You must stop treatment immediately in case of feeling palpitations, increased headaches, nausea or behavioral disorders. The use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with intolerance to lactose and certain sugars (glucose, galactose).
In case of worsening of symptoms (fever, superinfection) and without improvement, you must consult a doctor.
To avoid any overdose, do not combine Dolirhume with other specialties containing paracetamol or pseudoephedrine.
Dolirhume contains pseudoephedrine, this substance can induce a positive reaction during an anti-doping test.
