“Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is micronized diosmin (Diosminum).
1 film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of micronized diosmin.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), magnesium stearate.
Opadry IIPink 85F24220 coating consists of: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol – PEG 3350, talc, yellow iron oxide (E 172) and red iron oxide (E 172).

Dosage
The usual dose is 2 tablets per day with meals (morning and evening).
Only in cases of exacerbation of symptoms caused by hemorrhoids, it is recommended to prescribe increased doses of up to 6 tablets per day, i.e. 2 times a day, 3 tablets for 4 days, and in the next 3 days, reduce the dose: 4 tablets per day. per day, i.e. 2 times a day, 2 tablets per day.

Action
DIG contains diosmin, which has a protective effect on venous vessels. It reduces their permeability, provides elasticity and increases the tension of their walls. By improving blood return from the venous system of the lower extremities, it reduces hypertension and venous congestion in these extremities.

Indications
DIG is used in patients with symptoms of chronic insufficiency of venous circulation of the lower extremities:
pain and night leg cramps,
feeling of heaviness in the legs,
Varicose veins,
dilatation of very small veins, so-called spider veins,
leg edema (swelling/swelling of the legs).
