1 ml of drops contains 0.5 mg of tetrizoline hydrochloride.
Excipients: sodium chloride, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, sodium tetraborate, boric acid, extra pure water.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Preparation for local use in the conjunctival sac.
Drops should not be used for a long time, especially in children.
Avoid contact of the dropper with the skin or any other surface while applying the medicine – the drops are a sterile solution.
If the patient wears lenses, they should be removed before use and put back on 15 minutes after instillation.
Children over 2 years old, adolescents and adults: 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day.

Starazolin contains tetrizoline, which acts (constricts) small blood vessels to reduce congestion and swelling. Tetrizoline is a sympathomimetic amine.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Common side effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):
systemic effects – headache, palpitations, weakness, increased sweating, increased blood pressure, tremor,
reactive hyperemia, burning of mucous membranes, dryness of mucous membranes.
Very rare side effects (less than 1 in 10,000 people):
Hyperkeratosis of the conjunctiva with puncture occlusion and excessive lachrymation.Warnings and Precautions
If symptoms of inflammation worsen, see your doctor.
The drug is not recommended for use in infections, corneal damage and severe pain.
If there is no improvement after 2 days of using Starazolin, you should consult a doctor.
The drug should be used with caution in diagnosed severe cardiovascular diseases (CHD, arterial hypertension), pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus and hyperthyroidism.
Use the drug with caution if you are taking MAO inhibitors or other drugs that can increase blood pressure.
The preparation contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with contact lenses. An interval of 15 minutes is recommended between applying the drops and re-putting on the lenses.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following symptoms: severe eye pain, headache, loss of vision.
This drug is not effective in late-type allergic reactions – contact inflammation of the conjunctiva and skin of the eyelids.
After the first opening of the vial, the drug should be used within 28 days.
Keep the drug away from children. Do not store above 25°C.

Starazolin may interact with:
MAOI, TLPD, rezeprin,
Insulin, atropine, anesthetics.
pregnancy and breastfeeding period
The use of this drug during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.
The use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not use on children under 2 years of age.
driving and working machines
There is no data indicating a direct effect of Starazolin on the ability to drive a car and work with mechanisms. Look out for conjunctivitis, dilated pupils, and blurred vision that may interfere with the above activities.
